INTRODUCTION TO LEATHER WORK

A 5 week course introducing how leather is produced, methods of design, cutting, embossing and sewing leather to produce your own unique piece. For further information please email redsrawtawtan@gmail.com.

A 5 week making course, engaging in the important principles of design through to completion. This is not a process which relies on templates or clicker dies. The course will enable individuals to create unique designs through traditional hand practices, to elevate your art and skills for future practice. Come with an idea of what you would like to make – from bags, purses, wallets, quivers, scabbards or even a sheath or holster!
