When Rosie begins a Small Creature book, she starts with drawings recording and investigating, then produces a small edition woodcut print of the lead character. Unframed original woodcut print, sold unframed, mounted and wrapped in cello bag, first edition edition of 25 prints. The story of Jeremy the sinstral (left handed) – of left spiralling snail – only so far at the research stage. Rosie collected snails in jam jars, with cabbage leaves in them, as a child – they are fascinating small creatures, with thousands of teeth! The title is a nod of left / right British politics, Rosie is left handed.
